Breese Thanksgiving

It is absolutely pure chaos when all our girls get together! There is tons of squealing and screeming...I'm sure the neighbors got an ear full! Regardless of what you might think after you see these pictures, there were plenty of adults present...they just aren't as fun to take pictures of! we had a great Thanksgiving and I am SOOOOO thankful to be back in Texas so I don't have to miss any more of these memorable family get-togethers!
Finally, enough bikes for everyone!
"I'm not Brooklyn, I'm the mom" and rest assured there was plenty of bossing going on...I don't think anyone told her she is the youngest!

Kaylin terrorized all her cousins with some lovely earth worms!
And Daddy continues the terrorizing with worm guts!
Sweet Baby! She has a hair issue going on, between rubbing a bald spot and cradle cap pulling hair out...she will only be seen in a hat for the next few months!!!
The 2 newest cousins! Kirra is about 5 weeks older than Sadie (my cousins baby), they have a fun future together!
We bribe them with a funny-face picture in order to try to get a good one...I like the funny-faces :)
Of course with this many girls there is plenty of shopping to be done...even if it is from a catalog!
And what cousin get-together would be complete without a dance party!
And the finishing touch on a great Thanksgiving...Yummy Turkey cookies!

New Toy

I got a new camera...a good one! I'm so excited about it but have A LOT to learn. I downloaded a free 30 day trial of Photoshop Lightroom and it is fun...but again A LOT to learn! I'm not sure why these look so grainy here, they looked fine when i was working on them in photoshop. Anyways you can get the idea...I'm pumped!

Zoo Trip

I love being back in FW and being able to go to the zoo! It's a perfect place to take the girls during the week and just let them run around. This was Kirra's first trip...don't think she ever woke up!

I think these next 2 pictures are a pretty good indication of what the teenage years will be like around here! Every time we passed anything that even resembled a phone they both had to stop and talk!

Pumpkins

On one of our trips to Gustine to visit Brianna while she was in town I had the great idea of carving pumpkins! The best part of my idea was that I would be taking pictures and Kent and Brianna would be helping the girls with all the dirty work! They had so much fun doing it...I think we'll carve pumpkins in Gustine every year!

Stay With Me

Keep reading! There's more new posts down below and lots more to come. Rory finally agreed to let me use his computer to put my pictures on...thanks babe ;)

Just Like Daddy

Rory was walking around the driveway at Kent and Felicia's talking on the phone. Next thing we know Brooklyn has found a little calculator that looks like his Blackberry and is talking on it...cutest thing ever! She even got all full of attitude (like I'm sure her Daddy had) with her hand on her hip and being all bossy sounding.

She Smiles!

I love this! I have been waiting for some expression from her and she finally delivered on October 10! Look at that pretty little grin!

Just Living

We've just been truckin' along! Kirra is getting bigger by the day it seems so we decided to put her up next to Sam to remind us that she's still tiny and to let them get better aquainted!!! The girls are loving their new backyard still and spend hours out there when the weather is nice.

We get into the Cowboy spirit around here!
Kirra's first non-sponge bath. She loves it!

The Party Never Ends

Sorry about the order of the pictures, Blogger is not cooperating!

We had a never-ending birthday celebration this year! We were actually in Gustine on Brooklyn's birthday so we had another cake and made a big fuss over her! She still wasn't into the candles. She tried to act like she could care less but when it came time to actually blow out the candles she wouldn't have anything to do with them. The girls absolutely love going to Gustine! They get to play outside, ride the 4-wheeler, see the cows, and explore! This was also Kirra's first trip and she pretty much slept through the whole thing!

Happy Birthdays!!!

I got smart this year and decided since I had no idea when I would have a baby and that if I hadn't had her by the time the girls' party rolled around I wouldn't want to be doing ANYTHING and booked an all-inclusive party at Chuck E Cheese's! I even ordered the cakes through them (and they weren't very good by the way). All we did was show up and PARTY...it was sooo nice and easy, especially with a 7 day old baby! We had a great turnout with lots of friends, several of whom we hadn't seen in a looong time. The kids all had fun playing games and the parents had a good time catching up. Brooklyn had promised she wasn't going to be scared of CEC but when it came down to it she wasn't having anything to do with him! By the end of the party I polled the parents and they all agreed they WOULD NOT have their feelings hurt if we took the gifts home and opened them later. We were already an hour late and everyone was tired (mainly me) so we loaded up everything and came home. We discussed letting them each open one gift that night and then do the rest the next day, but we decided that it was lame to not open everything the day of the party! I'm so glad we did it this way, it was so much more calm and less stressful! The girls loved everything and loved that we let them open the toys as we went :)

I ABSOLUTELY cannot believe I Makayla is 5 and Brooklyn is 3! They have seemed so much bigger overnight since Kirra was born. Makayla is so thoughtful and helpful these days and LOVES her little sisters! Of course she and Brooklyn have their differences but they love having each other around. She didn't start kindergarten this year mainly because we only got here 2 weeks before school started and couldn't decide on where we wanted to send her. I'm glad she will wait one more year and be one of the oldest kids instead of the youngest (although I could use a MDO right about now)! Brooklyn really surprised me with Kirra's arrival. I thought she was going to have some major issues but she is soooo IN LOVE with her. She wants to hug and kiss her all the time! She is still just as spunky as ever and keeps me on my toes. She's is so cute and full of attitude...it just blows me away how much she has grown up in the last couple of months! I love my girls so much and I love being able to watch them grow every day! HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLS!!!
